Yes, Yes! If you run your fingers down the track that the rake runs on there should be a small button opposite the rake. Press it for five seonds and let go, and repeat a few times.  Then turn on the unit again.  It should work.  Mine does every time! Make sure the unit is unplugged and that there aren't any batteries inside first.

Does anyone know of some button on the LM500 that you can press to release the rake?
