LitterMaid LM500

I wish I could say that I like the LM500, I really do, but I cannot.  There are just too many problems.  For one, the machine is so noisy.  I understand that they fixed this problem in the newer models, but then I heard the newer models have other issues.  I also understand that the really old models were even noisier, I cannot even imagine what that was like because the noise is unbearable for me, and for my cat as well.  It gets scared every time a cycle begins. Second of all, the rake constantly gets stuck, no matter how much I clean it and clean out the box.  With the expensive litter that I buy, you would expect it to work properly.  Lastly, the smell is just awful.  I bought fllters, sprays, a fan, you name it and nothing works.  I think it just might be time to move on to something else.
