I bought the combo package. It was on sale for a good price and got everything with it that I wanted.

Buy them separately, for sure. They just try to get you to spend more money. The LM500 is popular and is on sale lots of times. You are better off buying the litter box and the different accessories separately. Plus, I think the LitterMaid accessories are a waste of money. They are flimsy and do not do very much.
