The LME5000 is the small model and the LME9000 is the larger model.  They are the newer versions of the LM500 and the LM900.  Supposedly the older ones are better but I am happy with the LME9000. Also, the LME900 is supposed to be more suitable for mulitple cat households, but I don't think it matters unless you have a large cat like I do.

Can someone tell me the difference between the Littermaid LME9000 and the Littermaid LME5000. I see both models advertised as part of the Littermaid Elite line but can't figure out what the difference is.
