Some cats enjoy their privacy, so having an exposed litter box, as great as the automatic litter boxes are these days, is not ideal. The Kitty Kabana provides the cat with the needed privacy, although putting the tent together can prove to be a rather difficult task. It is made from a translucent material which provides a great deal of light for the cat. However, this material is not the strongest of materials and can rip when handled poorly. The tent is also intended for keeping the litter in the litter box area and for keeping odors from escaping. The litter can and does escape and so having an additional contraption such as a carpet or a ramp can help. The tent does eliminate most odors, though this can also be achieved with other items such as Powerful Odor-Absorbing Carbon Filters.
