The ScoopFree Ultra self cleaning litter box is a slight improvement to the Original ScoopFree. It comes with the ScoopFree hood for privacy and extra protection against litter scatter. It also features the Adjustable Rake Delay and the Health Counter. The Adjustable Rake Delay allows you to adjust the cycle so that it starts either 5 or 10 minutes after the cat exits the litter box instead of the standard 20 minutes. The Health Counter on the ScoopFree Ultra keeps track of the cat’s visits to the litter box in order to help monitor its health. These extra features are certainly nice to have but are not a make-it-or-break-it deal. The ScoopFree litter box is still a great invention, although the refills can get expensive.
